Ok, Peter, let’s talk a bit about OVO.
I read the book attentively.
You tell the story of a man who loved earth, of his son who destroyed Earth balance, of his daughter who fell in love with Skyboy and gave him a son, Ovo.
The story had been divided in three sections:

Ho letto attentamente il libretto.
Racconti la storia di un uomo che amava la Terra, di suo figlio che distrusse l'equilibrio ecologico, di sua figlia che s'innamora di Skyboy e gli dona un figlio, Ovo.

Il racconto era stato suddiviso in tre paragrafi:

• LIFE (“The Man Who Loved the Earth”) - VITA ("L'Uomo Che Amava La Terra")
• NEGATIVE PROGRESS (“The Tower that ate People”) - PROGRESSO NOCIVO ("La Torre Che Divorava Le Persone")
• ALARM AND HOPE TO THE FUTURE (“ The Nest that sailed the Sky”) - ALLARME E SPERANZA NEL FUTURO ("Il Nido Che Salpò Nel Cielo")

The biological and human balance had been destroyed by the son, who imposed progress and tried to establish a rational order to nature, which at the end made a revenge on human beings, setting Earth upside down.
The final image of Ovo sailing into the Sky and creating a New Age reminds me to Kubrick’s masterpiece “2001: A Space Odyssey”.
Did the movie influence in some way the Story of Ovo?

L'equilibrio dell'ecosistema era stato annientato dal figlio, che voleva imporre le leggi del progresso e che tentava di impostare un ordine razionale alla Natura, la quale infine si vendica del genere umano, rovesciando la Terra.
L'immagine finale di Ovo che si alza verso il Cielo dando vita a una Nuova Era mi rimanda alla sequenza finale del capolavoro di Stanley Kubrick "2001: Odissea Nello Spazio".
Il film ha influenzato in qualche modo il racconto di Ovo?
